Sportsmanlike Conduct

The Washington Renegades Rugby Football Club place their hands in a post-practice huddle Tuesday evening, May 3, 2005. The club, formed in 1998, was the first rugby club in the U.S. to actively recruit a "multicultural" roster of players, specifically including gay men. The practice at Stead Field near 17th & P NW included gay and straight men in commingled squads playing touch rugby. Some members followed-up at the club bar with beer and chicken fingers.
