DC Gay Wedding

Sinjoyla Townsend, left, and Angelisa Young, both of Washington, kiss as they are wed in the first reported wedding ceremony of a same-sex couple in the District of Columbia, March 8, 2010. The ceremony was the first of three held in the morning at the Human Rights Campaign headquarters building in northwest DC. The two were the first same-sex couple to receive a District marriage license.
